Forwarding users to a site from the thank you page.

I'm using an ebook security program, and I would like to forward the user to another server right after a payment is finished in aMember, instead of having them login to aMember and then click on a link. I opened up the thanks.html template and tried to do something like this:

{if $p.product_id="Loan Officer's Guide to Success"}

{else}

{/if}

However, I get this error a smarty error about the "=" - please advise on how to do this correctly.
