Free Trail declining credit cards - Authoirze.net AIM

    I am seeing an issue with recurring billing and Trial periods. I have setup a 7 day trail with zero dollars and for some reason the CC is being declined. We spoke to Authorize.net (we are using Authorize AIM in aMember) and the said that Authorize.net (the gateway) and Nexgen (payment processor) are two of the largest companies in their industries, and that he has not seen this problem with other customers. He has offered to pull batch reports for specific days/weeks, but said that the reports will all come back saying that the issuing bank declined the transactions MOST LIKELY because the information is not being delivered correctly from our system (AMEMBER.)
    He said there is most likely a bug or glitch in our system that causes the information to be garbled when submitted.

    Is there a check for that? How do we look into this?

    or is there a way to trick the system to NOT submit CC info and just give the user the free 7 day trail and then charge at the end of 7 days?
