Hi, amember displays always the NET Price on signup page but in Germany we have to display prices including VAT for private Customers. On the Bill the VAT has to be seperate displayed. for example: end user price 119 Euros Net Price 100 Euros. A Signup i have to display the 119 Euros for the Product but on the Bill i have to display 100 Euros + 19 Euros VAT Total = 119 Euros. So what can i do to solve this? regards Frank
Hi Frank, aMember does not, unfortunately, support EU VAT related tax calculations and invoicing without doing some "hacking". Take a look at http://www.amember.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6984 - mainly the last post from me in that thread. I *DO* have the EU VAT tax calculations and related stuff working, but it is payment plugin specific. What payment plugins do you need? The least complicated solution would be to use a 3rd party "reseller" company based in a non-EU country to accept the online payments. One of such companies is 2checkout.com for example. The point is, if you use 2CO to "process payments", you are, technically, not selling to the end customer but to the 2checkout.com company based in the USA which then resells the stuff to the end customer on your behalf. This is quite important because there is no EU VAT calculations involved when an EU based merchant sells to a US based company / customer. It simplifies everything quite a lot. The point is, if you sell through 2CO, you don't have to calculate any EU VAT at all, you do not have to mention it on your signup page and you do not have to include it in the invoices... because it's not you but them who sells the stuff. However, if you can't or don't want to use 2CO or another company using the same principles (Clickbank, to a degree, for example), you will have to go the "hacking" route I have chosen myself. Tomas
