    Hi All,

I'm trying to use GetResponse plugin that Alexander generously provided to me for free, but there is no readme file and he said he does not have one.

I'm Wondering if anybody here successfully using the GetResponse plugin? If so, I appreciate if you can provide me with instructions.

I'm not even sure where to begin with: I've got API key and put it in the admin area of aMember and I also put GR's campaign email into CP.

But how it works? Is it goes like...

Sign up from aMember installation and after they signed up, aMember triggers GetResponse plugin and send confirmation email and when they click on the link in the confirmation email from GetResponse.com, they will be presented with members' log-in page?

    Or

Sign up from GetResponse's subscription form and when they confirmed, are they presented with aMember's sign up form?

Thanks for reading this and any help greatly appreciated.

I have GR as well, and am looking for a plugin with amember. Can I have that plugin as well?

    Just ask for it

I wrote support, let them know I understand it is not officially supported, and asked if I could have the GR plugin... about 24 hours later, it was in my Inbox (thanks, Alex!).

So far, testing has worked well. I setup the API in the plug-in settings & the GR campaign name in each product, and when I signup as a new user, the user is instantly added to my GR subscribers.

Now, I don't have "set confirmed opt-in" required for this campaign in GR (so no double opt-in; since these are paying customers I have decided it is not necessary); therefore, subscribers are added instantly and without further verification.

I did test changing the user's email address in Amember, and it does NOT update GR, so there is not full integration. But, I'm happy with what it does for me.

This isnt a support forum- its a users forum. If you need support you should send a support ticket to amember.

Sorry the other users were unable to help you.

Amen! And it's a darn good job we have people like David helping out... or this forum wouldn't be half the place it is.

On a sidenote... Is the plugin still available, anyone?

It is not a support issue for aMember. If they had the plugin, I would get it, but they don't. It is about the users and purchasers of aMember helping each other out.

    Hi David

I really don't want to have to resort to Aweber which is not a full integration, Is it possible to have a GetResponse plugin built for Amember that will automatically pass on the information from Amember to the GetResponse Subscription API?

Since Amember has a plugin interface that allows you to build plugins for Amember I'm wondering if this would be possible. If it's possible I would just have my programmer build it for me.

Yep, you can build your own plugins- i think amember may already have one- contact them.

Can someone take five minutes out to post instructions on integrating the GetResponse plugin? I have it, but no clue how to set it up and the forum doesn't seem to offer any existing support/instructions for it, other than people saying they have successfully set it up.. might be useful if we could get a quick update on exactly how to work with it.

Would anyone be interested in purchasing a version of my aMail plugin for GetResponse? I think I may be creating a new version for GetResponse soon and I'd make it available on my web site like the ones I have for AWeber, MailChimp and AutoResponse Plus. I put a LOT more functionality into my aMail plugin than the versions aMember provides.

You have to read in between lines but the answer is above

    So the instructions are
1- unzip the files to a getresponse folder
2- upload this folder to the amember plugins protected folder
    3- activate plugin
4- enter GR API in amember
5- Create a campaign in GR
6- go to each product in amember and look for the GR campaing field and paste it in the name of the campaign you created.

    That's it :)

    Richard
