    Hi there

What callback method should I be using for Google Checkout? The options are:

    - xml e.g. <google-order-number>123</google-order-number>
    - HTML (name/value pairs) e.g. google-order-number=123

    Many thanks

    Jim

I received an email from amember that the correct one is "XML".
But it was one of those famous amember "brush off" emails that was 1 sentence long, didn't answer all of your questions, and obvious that they didn't take the time to read or respond with a 100% accurate response. I guess "lazy response" is the right word.

Just fyi, I can't get google checkout to work, I'm using xml, but it is not marking anything as paid even though there is a receipt id associated with the member. I've been trying to get an answer from support for a week now.

Well, they actually did get me a good answer finally, the problem is just that they kept asking for one little piece of info each time. So here's what to do:

They need to update your plugin. Tell them google checkout doesn't work, give them ftp access (I created a temp account for them) and they might want access to your admin page, I'm not sure if they used that.

They will update it to the new plugin for you, and they will also make any customizations you needed (I needed it to give my members instant access as soon as the first API callback came in, I didn't want them to have to wait until google processed the credit card later in the day, approval was enough for me - if you are selling a product, you won't need that change).

So I finally did get it working. As an aside, so far, not a single customer has used it lol.
