Just released by Google. Will aMember support it? Looks like an awesome alternative to PayPal.

aMember should be able to support it. It has IPN features and I saw an another payment processing script with the capability of handling Google Checkout transactions- it should be out soon !

Amember Google Suite?

I think another consideration, outside of the simple aspect of it as a payments processor, is if you extend the Amember support for Google products as a whole.

Consider opportunities around a plugin-suite to include:

• Google Analytics Tagging
• Google Ad Words / Affiliate Integration
• Google Checkout Payments Processor
• Automation of Froogle/GBase data file generation/publishing
• Google Desktop SideBar PlugIn for Amember stats (new users, sales, etc)
• etc.

Are enough of us using these products to make it worth while? If Alex has other priorities at the moment should we purusue a grass root / open source movement to speed enablement?
