Hello... I new to Amember and to this forum.

recently purchased a site using amember script. It is similar to another site I have that is using smarty templates. So I thought i knew where to make changes involving the home page

FYI -Not using the version that allows you to do this via the admin panel

    Here is my question:

There is code that needs to changed to reflect our google_ad_client = "pub-999999999999" code.

I can see it on the home page by viewing source code, but when i go to the index.html page it is not there. I know it would not be in the index.php code page and have actually verified that when I could not find it in the html page.

I have looked in the header and footer html files too.

Another similar issue is that I did change the copyright statement in the footer file, but it is not showing up..

From what I have read and I thought I was looking in the right places.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    thank you.

    amember/templates/footer.html?
Some of the links to amember are in other template files though.

    thanks for your reply...

that's what I thought... I have check every html file I can find! downloaded the complete site to my pc and did a search for the text... nothing... weird.

I looked everywhere.. didn't see the code so I put it in myelf.

But There seems to be some type of issue going on and I could use some input...

I changed the amember/templates/footer.html file - the copyright statement.
I did this from the cpanel. But the change is not showing. I verified the permissions and they are right.

I then downloaded the file into Dreamweaver. It shows the changes in the downloaded file, but does not show on the site. I have cleared cache, rebooted... nothing... re uploaded numerous times... nothing..

any suggestions????? something so simple had turned out to be a bear!
