    Hi

My hosting company has asked to check my amember files as other sites have been receiving spam.

On looking there appear to be several files (see below) in my amember folder that all appeared a few days ago - I havent touched it for months so they didnt come from me - I'm guessing as I'm no expert that I have been hacked in some way? Could someone just confirm this and is it safe for me to delete these files?

    test.txt
    id.txt
    indek.php
    benjo.php
    monjali.php
    mailer.gif
    dataku.php
    ico_linux.gif
    ID CARD.jpg
    head.php
    foot.php

    Thanks
    Dave

    Yep, looks hacked.

What version are you running? Do you have any other CMS systems etc.. on the site?

a old 2 something or other version

Yes it was an old version but it was simple (Im no techy)
So I have now uploaded the latest version which seems a lot harder to adapt (I dont use the payment plugins at all although my site is a subscription site / members only its easier to just send out invoices)
Unfortunately I now :( have to log in twice for some reason and that will drive everyone else bonkers come tomorrow ...
