I've had aMember for 6 months and still have yet to launch for various reasons. I have searched the forum for solutions and received feedback from support and I want to find out if anyone has had success in customizing amember with their wordpress template. I thought I was close and now I have a buggy error code when I click on the profile link within the sidebar widget: It also states that the The wordpress plugin is installed within the amember folder and all installs were done appropriately. If I take out the customization code I added, it works again so I know it's with the code. This is what I did which was provided in a previous members forum post: Step 1 Added the following to lines after all the brackets in /amember/config.inc.php Step 2 Added page.php info (below) into amember's header.html (in templates folder) by overwriting all code yet leaving css calls: Step 3 Overwrote all the code in the footer.html with the page.php code: I do not know php (a main reason this has taken me 6 months!) and so can't figure a work-around or how I would code it. Can anyone shed some light or perhaps provide a different solution that does NOT include hardcoding? (I already did that and did not like the results - I do know html and css) Many thanks in advance for any tips whatsoever!!
I've posted a "how to" on one of the responses here on the forum (and yes, there's no way around it but to hardcode some things), but if you find that post too convoluted to follow, let me know and I could set this up for you within a few hours... (contact info below)
