Hello. Just got this installed, and so far I'm very impressed with this script! One thing that I need however is some customization in how my memberships are administered. For example, on the sign-up page, all the member categories are available, but I need each one to be available only to a member of the level below it. So, someone new signs up as a Page. Anything above the level of Squire is inaccessible. Once they're a Squire, they can upgrade to Knight, and so on. On top of that, I have time limits that the user must spend at certain levels before being able to "graduate" to the next one up (example, 30 days as a Squire before being able to upgrade to Knight.) To achieve each upgraded level, they must also fill out a test (which I evaluate), and this needs to be accessible to that user only once so that they cannot abuse the system. Suggestions and help appreciated!
Well the first part should be easy, just configure the product area here..... Require another subscription to order this product And Select the Level Below it...Should Work. I'm not sure how to configure the second part though.......
Okay, thanks for the tip. I'm getting more familiar with the software now Next question- I want members from a given subscription level to not be able to see the signup options except for the one immediately available to them. I see under Product Availability/Visibility that there is a drop down for Scope. Of the four options there, which will accomplish this? The explanations are a little unclear. I'd like a "Page" to see only the "Squire" subscription option, the "Squire" to only see the "Knight" subscription option, etc. Thanks for your help!
This can be done with aMember CP -> Manage Products -> Edit product -> Require another subscription to order this product
