Alex I would like to provide 2 day and 1 week passes for certain to-be-subscribers.But I would not like these products or product options to appear on the members.htm and the signup htm pages. The scope option under the edit product category does not provide such. thanks in advance
And additionally, why "scope" is not enough for you? Why don't you like scope="disabled" ? it only affects visibility!
Scope=disabled Alex I have tried using the "disabled" scope option before. The product was not listed in both the members.htm and signup page but the thing is I could not enter our membership page when I use the username and login it redirects me to a membership info page or a page link. Just confused....
cell, when you changed product scope to another value, did it fix the issue? The issue you described just CANNOT be related with product scope.
Scope and limitations It did not fix the issue... i created a product "2 day pass" where the duration is 2 days and the scope "disabled" (as you have suggested). I assigned USER1 , under payments and subscription, to this "2 day pass". I tried logging in to our membership page using USER1. it redirected me to members page with the usual format but when I click the 2 day pass link it membership information page. If it could not be fixed by mere scope option what then could be done? I simply need that this option/options do not appear on the members page and signup page. I am an ASP programmer/web developer by trade so I was thinking there might be a way through the SQL statement being passed ,just a suggestion by the way. Thanks in advance
Could you show me an example? Please email to support@cgi-central.net URL, username and password to test, along with description what is wrong and how it should be changed. thank you!
