I've read that Hivemail can be integrated into amember (as plugin). Question: I posses hivemail 1.31 already. Do I still need the plugin offered on this site or is it possible to modify my standalone hivemail script so it works with amember?
It depends on your expectations on integaration. 1. aMember Pro ($139.95) - you can protect HiveMail folder, so only paid and not-expired members can access your HiveMail installation. Registrations in HiveMail must be handled separately. There are no "magic" links between aMember and HiveMail 2. aMember Pro ($139.95) + HiveMail integration plugin ($40) - all paid members registered in aMember, will be automatically added to your HiveMail members database with configured level of access. When subscription expires, they will be moved away from the access level and disabled. There is also "single-login" between aMember Pro and HiveMail. I have to mention: HiveMail integration plugin DOES NOT INCLUDE HiveMail itself! It would be strange to expect...
