How do I add a confirmation code to the thank you page?

I'm new to amember and I can't figure out how to add a confirmation code for Google's Website Optimizer to the thank you page.

Should I add the code to thanks.php in the main amember folder?

Or should I add the code to the thanks.html in the templates folder?

Or is there something else I should do?
