How to Change Subscription Term & Price

    We use Authorize.net for payments. We have added a new subscription term on the site. If a user has been on Monthly wants to shift to the Annual subscription (or 'product' in aMember), can we simply use the dropdown to change their subscription for them and expect it to handle things correctly?

    This will involve a new term of membership and a higher price. To be clear, we need to know if using the dropdown to change the membership from Monthly to Annual for that user will:
    1) result in payment at the higher price at their next renewal
    2) set the appropriate end date for the new term

    If any manual changes need to be done, please specify. Thank you in advance!

    Answer to both questions is Yes.
    if you change product in his latest active payment's record user will be billed using new product terms.

    To clarify.... when we elect the new subscription from the dropdown do we also need to update the Amount,$ field to show the correct price, or will that automatically update at the next renewal?

    For ex: it currently shows $999.50 and the new subscription is $797.00, so once we change the subscription in the dropdown do we need to also update the Amount,$ box to show $797.00?

    No you don't need to update amount for his old payment.
