Ok, basic question I guess, but I can't figure out how to protect pages that already exist on my wordpress site.

I have the latest amember installed - do I need a Wordpress plugin as well?

Shouldn't I just be able to add the url of the pages I want protected?

Also, I have ebooks I want protected, but they are not "one file" they are basically a directory of files that determine if the user is using a mobile device or not, then displays the correct format - what is the best way of protecting these?

    hey canuck.
you need to install & configure the amember wordpress plugin with comes with it.
After this you are able to protect entire post / pages or categories from wordpress admin.

Ok it's integrated but I still can't seem to figure out how to protect pages from wp-admin - is there a primer somewhere on this? It shouldn't be this difficult.

Found the issue - the protection box will NOT show on an Ipad, works fine from a PC, thanks!
