I searched to see if this was asked here, but it wasn't...

... Does anyone know how to set aMember to lock in a monthly membership price for early subscribers (without having to "Add New Product")?

    I'm using aMember version 2.3.8PRO .

Sorry, what means "lock in a price" ? Please explain how should it work and which payment processors do you use.
I'm afraid it is impossible without setting up a new product.

To 'lock in' a price for someone means that when the subscription price changes for everyone else, they still pay the original amount. I'd be interested in that feature, too.

For example, let's say Bob subscribes today at $49 a month via PayPal...

... Then I decide to increase the price to $95 a month starting today -- I'd like to "lock in" Bob's price of $49 (for life), yet any new member pays $95 a month.

If You are Using Paypal - It Is locked In!

If the payment processor you are using creates a recurring subscription - like 2co and Paypal, the customer is locked in at the price that they subscribe at.

You can change the price of the existing product to anything that you want and only NEW subscribers will be set up at that new price.

Unlike having your own merchant account the 3rd party payment processors like Paypal are just sending a message back to your copy of amember when they process an existing customers next payment. It's not your amember install asking them to re-bill.
