How to set up $1 trial with recurring charge after 30 days?

I posted this a few days ago on an existing thread, which has not been answered. I'm going to try with a new post. I can't go forward with set-up until I get an answer.

Hi,

I am trying to set up a $1 trial for the first 30 days, and then the member will be billed a monthly recurring amount (theoretically "forever") or until they cancel.

I cannot find in product set up where it says

"recurring =" (so I can fill in "yes")
Trial 1 price =
Trial 1 period =

Where exactly IS this?

Think yo may not have a payment plugin enabled that can do this.
Enable paypal_r and you'll see those options come up in the product setting.

I did not have any payment methods enabled at all.
