When I move all aMember files to https for security, I'm unable to select a folder to protect under my standard http area. I get a PHP error. It won't let me get further than the https root to select it.

    Chris,
it would help if you provide exact PHP error message, however most possible it will not work on your hosting as you want. Use another protection method (htpasswd), or place ALL site files to the same folder (http or https).

    No way around this?

I can't even select a folder to protect so how would I use another protection method. Also, moving the entire site into the https folder means that everything has to be encrypted/secure? The ONLY thing I need secure is the payment for Authorize AIM. Nothing else needs or should be secure (restricted to members, yes, secure, no).

It is possible to fix that manually. Just contact support for that with ftp info.
