    I would like to force the login pages to be https. How do I do that? Is there a setting in amember or do I have to do that thru apache?

    First, try to set
    aMember CP -> Setup -> Root URL to https://
    Yes, Apache configuration would resolve this easily.

    trying to get this to work as well.

    I changed it to "https://www.mysite.com/amember" in the CP admin but no luck.

    Do I need to put in a redirect somewhere ?

    there is no way to force, but you can set links to https:// URLs only.
