Hey guys, So I've been building a membership site using Wordpress for the last week, and filling it with great content. So now comes the time to use aMember to protect it and start collecting for my hard work. So I install aMember, protect the directory, make it a product, make a test purchase, etc. However, when I go to the blog now, whenever I click on any link I get a "Not Found" error. Everything was fine before I installed aMember. They are installed in two different directories. (Don't know if that has anything to do with anything.) I'm very worried. What is going on? The only page on the blog that works is the main page that aMember brings them to after signup. Every other link is simply "Not Found." Thanks for the help. EDIT: Ok, so the problem has to do with the new_rewrite protection. I've looked at other posts in the forums and none of them had the solution. For some reason my .htaccess doesn't even appear in my FTP files, so I have no way to edit them.
In your FTP program you need to set it to show hidden files. The youll see the .htaccess file. http://blog.dreamhosters.com/kbase/index.cgi?area=2932 Are you using permalinks? Turn them off. My guess is you had permalinks on, then protected with amember. This overwrote the wordpress htacess file, so your links are no longer working. David
