I purchased ad downloaded Amember pro and I am having trouble setting it up. my iste is switched over to it now and nothing is working so time is critacle.

I have a site built from front page on godday host site. I have SMF forums with authrizenet as my payment gateway.

do I need to purchase addtional plugins Ie SMF plugin. any others?

    this site functions as such.
there are several open public pages including my index page.
there are 3 member only site pages
    2 downloadable products for sale
the entire SMF forum section is for members only.

How do I do this. when I installed the program my home page automatically was protected by amember and requires a login how do i fix this to only happen on what i want to be member pages. furthermore even with the home page being protected I can back door it by typing the url (mysite/about/hsdj....com) to go to another page and it lets me.

    please help.

    did you use the include?

I would have to read the manual but what I remember (its been a few years) you put the protected files into their own directory and use the .htaccess file OR there is an include you can put on your pages that will make it look to see if they ahve logged in through amember.

Again I am sorry I cant be more help it has been a few years since I used it without a CMS.
