The customer service for this software SUCKS. I need some help. I was told that if I wanted to upgrade software and have it reinstalled on a different domain. it would be $50. So, I upgraded to 6more months and now I'm told that if I want it installed on the new domain, it will cost me another $40. This is so ridiculous. I can not believe that these people think that they are doing a great job with support. I can only imagine just how many complaints they get every day. I've been asking for 7 days now, just to have the user name and password reset to get into the OLD installation admin area. Do you think I've been given that. HELL NO!. I'm so IRRITATED AND FRUSTRATED. Is there anyone here that can help me install the new software files to my new domain? If not a total novice, but this software is really a mess. When I told them I couldn't even get into the support area to answer questions,that I was using the email address through my yahoo email to contact them, they still responded by using the support section to respond to me. Those I was not able to log in for almost a week. Trying day after day to get add a different password and login info again and again. Is it this hard for everyone else using this software?

I have used this software for a long time now. I must have unstalled in about a million times so if you want a hand I would be happy to help. I'm guessing you are on a Linux/Apache Server.
mscleo, I'm sorry for your frustration and want to explain few things: 1. License has been changed in your account by your first request week ago as I remember. Normally we don't allow to change license if you have aMember still running on old domain but I allowed to do this. aMember license is for one domain only, so two different domains are not allowed by one license, but I just made exception for you. 2. "Upgrades subscription" that you purchased is ability to download upgrades for 6 months. You can go to your member's area any time within this period and download last version and install it. If you need our help in upgrade or installation (after free one was used) this will costs additional $40 We just unable to install upgrades or reinstall scripts for free. Anyway if you will try to install or upgrade yourself and have any problems/questions we will help to resolve issues. And I do this right now in helpdesk. 3. There were problems with our email address and we are working to resolve this. So sometimes email notifications from HelpDesk are not being received. So if you didn't got reply a long time try to check ticket status in HelpDesk at http://www.amember.com/support/ 4. I checked your tickets history and found that you asked about aour aMember CP login info three times. All three times we changed this info and gave you url to script that will help you to do this yourself: http://www.amember.com/downloads/fixlicense.zip The script is easy to use and is very simple to install, correct me if I wrong. 5. I'm sorry for delays with reply in the past. But all your recent tickets were answered in time.
