So basicly I have search and I cannot find what I am looking for.

I have aMember and vBulletin works flawless

I only want Paying members to be able to access all of the forums.
So this is what I have

A: Free - only gives them access to the information forum.
    B. Free Forum Access Requires Paid Subscription (Active or Expired) - Never Expires
C: Paid subscription - Expires Daily

I would like to give the Paid subscription Free Forum Access without them having to go back to the amember.php page and selecting it.

I can set the Paid to adjust the user group of vBulletin but when their Paid Subscription expires they get moved to the "Guest" in vBulletin.

How can I stop the moving from Registered User to Guest.

In simple terms once they buy ANYTHING they get free forum access for life.

Can we add an option on the Edit Product/Subscription page, just under Additional Options

    vBulletin Access Expires:
Options: With Subscription, 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, Never

I will be submitting a ticket for this also and I will let you all know (if I remember) how it turns out.

Ok this is what I figured out while I have been waiting.

the plugin has a Default Level to set the user at once their subscription is over IF they do NOT have any other active subscriptions.

I have a Free Lifetime Sign up where you pretty much get nothing but it is still active. Basicly this was a work around to having to approve new members. People would sign up and if I was not there to approve them (like when I am sleeping) they were getting upset. So we set up a free sign up and I only have to approve the first time they make a purchase. After that it works as normal aMember. It is good because if customers have payment processor issues they can go back and try again.

Any how, since that is always active with no Access set every PAID member gets moved to the Guest account.

I really do not like to give forum access to non paying customers since it gets rid of the SPAM.

I guess I will wait and see if we can exclude the demotion in the plugin somehow.

    Adding a Complimentary Subscription

We had a similar issue where we wanted customers with accounts that completely expire (no active subscriptions) to still have access to our support system (which is integrated with aMember).

What we ended up doing was installing the Complimentary Advanced plugin from JLogica. What it does is when someone adds any subscription to their account, they are automatically signed up to a lifetime support subscription. It works well.

Here's the link on the site:

We're having a bit of trouble adding the support subscription to pre-existing accounts (we have a lot of users, so we need an automatic process), but we're working through that right now.
