Fellow aMember Aficionados, I am trying to make my PayPal page look more like my site. To add your header image to the PayPal site you supply a URL to the image which needs to be sitting on a secure server "https://" If it is not, the customer will get a pop-up warning that something on the page is not secure. This could spook some people into not checking out. It would be nice it PayPal allowed you to upload a single file onto their server, but that is not the case. I do not have access to a secure server and quite frankly to add this header image I am not willing to shell out much money. It is just not that important, but it would be a nice touch. Does anybody have any ideas on how to pull this off without investing much money or time ? Thanks in advance for any help on this!
If you run your own server you can self-sign a certificate at no charge. If you can't do that, consider a new web host that offers free ssl. Its a very competitive world out there for web hosting--lots of value and low prices if you look. Tom
Grant, it is not expensive: http://www.google.ru/search?hs=zDZ&...official&q=https image hosting&btnG=Поиск&lr=
I never thought about secured photo/logo hosting. Not a bad investment for $2.50-5/yr. However, there are also very low cost certs out there. Check out ev1servers.net for the $14.95 starter ssl. But if ALL you are doing is your paypal logo, then the secure photo hosting is an incredible deal!
