    Hi,
I have a site with amember, 1Shopping Cart & WordPress all integrated.

I have a course that is delivered in 4 sequential modules through amember & WP. Right now it looks like a new customer has to start at the amember page and then purchase. That adds a step I don't want between my sales page and the 1SC payment page.

I want to change the sequence that someone uses to sign up for a product to this:
    1. person is on the sales page - clicks the buy link
    2. is taken directly to 1SC page, where they enter their Credit Card info and purchase the product.
    3. the Navigation (in 1SC) Destination URL link for where they go after purchase leads them back to amember, where they are taken to a page that allows them to create their username and password for the product they purchased.

Is this sequence possible? If so, how can I do this?

I want to offer a variety of protected products and membership sites through amember, not all in the same niche, so don't really want people seeing every product on their amember page...

    Thanks!
    Deb

here's the official dope-sheet from DM:

    http://www.membershipacademy.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=215

Don't forget to log-in once you're there or else you'll listen to the intro spiel on this page... login redirects to the goods.

I am doing exactly what you're saying, taking payment for a $4 trial lasting 14 days, then renewing at full membership price. I'm querying how to do this while charging instead of creating lifetime free membership as the tute indicates, stating that users then have the option to upgrade.

    I understand your business model.

I see you will be reviewing the same info I do related to this sequence.

In your case, I would look at whether you can create a custom Signup.php page per Price Group. All positive price groups appear on the Signup page- so negative Price Grouping offers a custom track. But can the usage of Negative numbers for Price Group values be segregated into individual Signup pages?

    >>If so, it means that one Signup page (custom) can be created per -1, -2, -3 groups, etc.

    >>If not, it means there are only 2 signup methods available without custom code- one for +groups one for -groups. That's the next hour I spend- answering that question...

I will be creating custom code if this is not possible using the standard system here.

I will post my results if there is interest.
