Ikobo IPN

    Writing this here instead of emailing Alex because it is NOT an Amember problem, but related to ikobo. I am hoping some other member who use ikobo can help me (no response from their tech support!).

    The IPN does not appear to work. I filled it in with no error messages. But when a member signs up and pays, I do not get notified. There is nothing in the error log and the payment stays as 'not completed'.

    One thing I've noticed- If I go back into the ikobo screen, the fields for IPN are always blank and the box is not checked. Is this normal? What do other people see? I can't tell if its a problem or not.

    I bought a site certificate just for the ikobo account, so it has an https entry, but still doesn't work.

    Any Help??

    And did you try their livechat? I think they should be able to solve your problem.

    I tried- twice. Both times I waited about 20 mins, then just as it was my turn, an error came up and the session ended.

    To follow up: I think I solved the problem. It apparently didn't like the password I gave it. (For those who don't use ikobo, this is not the sign in password; its a password that comes back in the IPN along with the data, and is verified in aMember). I changed it, and now my IPN is visible via the ikobo display. Still waiting for a customer from ikobo to see if it works or not.

    Also, about three days after posting this I got an email from tech support, but I had already solved it as above.

    I am glad your problem was solved. Please keep me posted if the IPN is working now.
