    Hi.
I have purchased Amember pro a few weeks ago but haven't started using it yet.

I have it set up for paypal but I am thinking of using Ikobo as well ( or maybe instead ) are you intending to create a plugin for this anytime soon ???

    Regards.

Graham, it is impossible to create a plugin for iKobo yet, as it lacks some necessary features for integration.
    Unfortunately..

Why is impossible to use iKobo.com plugin ? iKobo has some advantages over PayPal (larger coverage, lower fees,iKard ...) and I would like to use my iKobo account.

Unfortunately, it is impossible because iKobo doesn't provide integration mechanism necessary for aMember Pro integration. I already reviewed what they provide, and it is not enough.

Alex there is no need for me to mail you.
I don't use ikobo just found that info on theyre website
Looks like a good replacement for paypal that is currently giving me a headache.

I have been reading good things about them and wanted to know if you are going to support them

    I really hope so

If you find any more info and you are going to make a plugin please let me know

    Cheers

    Dynamic features in iKobo

I agree to what Miko said. www.ikobo.com definitely looks like a good replacement for paypal.

for the IPN discussed here have a look at the Page no.5 (Last updated 03.29.2004) at http://www.ikobo.com/ipnmanual.html

I'd been observing their activities for the past 6 months and they are growing at a great speed.
'Third party cart integration'? yes, i agree with Alex here. This is the ONLY feature left to pull all the paypal users. Miko! you're headache is about to disappear! ;) If you see Page no.21 (Last updated 12.19.2003) at http://www.ikobo.com/shoppingcart.html you come to know that you can now pre-populate the sign-up forms. The customer support people have said that they will be coming up with 'third party cart integration' soon and we can use variables to make dynamic shopping carts :)

Does iKobo allow to make single-item purchase without any shopping cart? For example,

    1. aMember redirects user to URL, passing the following parameters (more parameters can be added if iKobo requires):

invoice# (may be put into "custom" field),
    seller ID,
    and amount to pay.

    2. then user comes to iKobo website, makes payment and
    3. then iKobo sends IPN notification to configured URL

Is it possible with iKobo? I know that (2) and (3) is possible, but what about (1) ?

an important thing - on step (2) there should be no available ways for customer to change price, add/remove items from shopping cart, it should be impossible.

Hi alex reagarding point one i think you can after doing some google search i finally found a couple of site using ikobo and it looks like you can set up simple links from your site to pass the information without using the shopping cart
here is an example from a site:

    https://www.ikobo.com/merchant/purchase.php?item_id=11691&poid=KI326982CA

Looking forward to see the development of this pluggin :)

    Alex,

I've been reading the posts in this forum ...I was referred to your site by
members from another marketing forum for the excellent service and the membership script your provide....

I've just registered with 2CO couple of weeks back for my other
products and was hoping that it would work well with your membership script as well....however reading the other posts regarding 2CO there seems to be no hope there.

As I'm from India I can't use paypal to draw money in my bank though I can use their service.

I have been keeping an watch on IKOBO and they really appear to be doing a great service for business owners all over the world.

As Miko pointed out in the above post they are providing IPN now, and it would be really great if you can fit in the IKOBO in your system.....

Looking forward to it ...I'm already sold on your membership script and
would like to place the order as soon as the problem of accepting 3rd party payment processors puzzle is solved.

  19. Are we sure iKobo is sound?

    Hey guys,

I have been reading some pretty awful things about iKobo on other forums.

Many problems. Recently, MasterCard dropped them. So users who wish to use MasterCard to send money can not.

Their customer service feedback is zero. No response to emails or phone calls.

Anyone know what is happening at iKobo?

I have read a few posts like that to around the web but so far i'm very pleased with them my email get answered in less than 24hrs and often i can get ikobo on they're live help and talk to them live.
Have you had problem getting support personally or you are just quoting what you have been reading?
