    Hi Alex sorry for the delay in getting back at you but i have been dealing with the joke site of ikobo.com

    After the good start with them i decided to switch my site to ikobo.com and the problem started.

    First problem the IPN was working for 2 days after that it stopped ikobo musted change something and it's not sending back anything.

    After hrs of chat support and several phone call to ikobo , no one at ikobo.com could help me on any technical question about ipn.

    Second problem almost 3 weeks and i still don't have a ikard and i have several hundreds of $ waiting on ikobo.com that i cannot use.

    They're support totally sux is almost useless. [​IMG]

    I would like to thanx Alex for the great work in providing me witht the beta plugin for ikobo.

    I would not reccomend ikobo to anyone after this terrible experience.

    Stick with paypal instead.

    Strange, i use IKobo too, I've seen others who have complained but I've found the customer service pretty good.

    I used them for about 6 months and although the setup is maybe difficult
    (faxing license/passport etc.) they have been great, very
    satisified with their sevices.
    No problem with withdraw money from my account, i received my iKard 5 days after signup(Croatia).

    Just my experience. :(

    You're right. There are some people who complain about customer service, but I think those are old posts, because right now it's working quite well. Just the other day I contacted them twice via live chat on their website regarding some questions about their chargeback protection and they answered quite promptly.
    Regarding the account verification, I also scanned some documents and e-mailed them to ikobo, but that was just once in the beginning and after that there were no more problems. People have to understand that if you want your account information safe and also to be protected from all types of fraud you have to undergo a strict verification. It might upset some folks, but I personally don't have any problems with it. I know it's for my own good.
    Same here with the card, although I think it took 6 days to arrive :)
    Boy, those sure were the longest days of my life, but once it arrived, withdrawing money was a proverbial "piece of cake".

    Travis, you've posted quite abit about Ikobo and seem to like it. Would you mind sharing the URL of your site? That way I can see it in action.

    hmmm no old post here ....... i've been waiting for my ikard for over 4 weeks
    and still nothing ikobo does not reply to my email the IPN DOES NOT WORK correctly they're chat system is useless, most of the time they cut you out completely.
    the only way that i can get intouch with the is by calling the support department if i can call it support all they can do is send you to the manual and don't know anything technical about the IPN variable.

    It's funny how only new cgi-cenral forum members like yourself Travis talk so good about ikobo without showing your website........

    Just my 2cents .

    Stay away from ikobo.

    I never said I have a site that uses ikobo. I only said a friend of mine was planning to start an ecommerce site. That's all. Don't ask me for his URL because he hasn't done anything yet, he's doing some more research as well as trying to learn some PHP and HTML.
    I myself only use ikobo for p2p transfers. I apologize if I have offended someone. I only posted about ikobo until now because the thread is about payment processing and I wanted to learn a thing or two, as well as share my personal experience. I can understand some of you have had, or are having problems with ikobo, but I for one haven't had any. I don't think that's enough to imply I may be affiliated with them in some way or another.
    I must emphasize this: I don't have a website that uses ikobo. Please stop asking for my URL because there isn't any.

    We use ikobo for all custum design payments, haven't had any problems. About live examples, you can see it in action here:

    Yes I'm new cgi-cenral forum member but old cgi-cenral forum watcher (and aMember user). ;)

    There you go. Maybe now you will believe me, and more importantly believe Zaja. You see, there actually are new members who use ikobo and are for real. Anyway, I hope I have convinced you that I'm just a regular user and please stop accusing me of anything.

    Well, you are right, there are always going to be people who have problems; either it's because they or the company are doing something wrong. I'm not sure what to say about ikobo's way to deal with problems. I myself have had some problems with the ikard they are supposed to send you. Problem was, it didn't make it the first time, got lost in the mail or something, but after speaking to someone at customer support they sent me a fresh new card, and express as well. I got it in 2 days, I really appreciated that.
    OK, one more thing, I was never asked for my birth certificate. I find it very hard to believe someone was. Anyway, I may be wrong of course.

    However for what i can see you are not using the IPN as you have placed just teh button links i'm i right ?

    Yeah, it's nice to see a site using ikobo. I think it's going to work out just fine. Maybe you'll integrate IPN into your site. Let us know how it goes.

    You have do have some money into your account in order to have de ikard sent to you. Maybe you already knew that. Just in case you didn't...

    Thought so. Well in that case try contacting customer support. When I want to ask something or have a problem I always use the live chat thingy on their website (I hate having to wait for e-mail responses). Worked alright for me. If your card hasn't arrived yet you can ask them to send you another. It happened to me as well, it was lost in the mail or something. Got a fresh one in 2 days after that (delivered express as well :D ).

    ikobo payment system

    If you want the iKard express delivered you can pay 19$ and in maximum 3 working days you will have it. I want to give you an advice. This is from my experience. Be careful what ATM (Bank) you use , because every bank has its own withdrawal fees and some of them are high and other are low. So get some information about your local banks and choose the right one.
