Im looking for a payment solution for my website. I will only be selling one "product" and that is access to my members area. I will only have this one area. I want to charge between $25-30 for access. My website is not adult related and I would like a way to rebill customers if I decide to move into that direction.

I am looking at merchants and their fees look terrible. Some have setup fees in the hundreds of dollars, monthly fees $40+ etc.

I found www.NetBilling.com and it looks ok. Their fees look good but it looks like I need to also sign up for a merchant account and they are just the gateway? Their support isnt answering my emails so Im not sure if I can just sign up with them or if I will still need to also sign up with another service.

I looked at Clickbank. I guess I wouldnt mind their fees. The only thing im wondering is do I have to pay the $50 to them to be in their product area? I dont need their affilaites. Is it possible just to run transactions through them?

I have heard that they often deny CC's. I even tried to buy an item from them and it wouldnt let me. I think this is a major problem so I would like to use an actual payment processor.

    Anybody have any sugjestions?

    Thanks

Hello j0k3z. Give this a try.

    Hello j0k3z,
I would just like to give you a suggestion as to a quick and easy solution to your problem.
PayPal is the answer. I am changing my site structure to a membership site ( non - adult related) and PayPal offers the best solution to the problem of a monthly/ weekly rebill. Be advised they'll drop you if it's an adult related site or anything that violates their TOS ( Terms of Service ).
As far as Clickbank is concerned you'll have to read their TOS. More than likely you'll have to pay the piper. After all they're not a free service and want to make a buck too.
Before you sign up read everything on PayPal's site, especially the blacklisted sites/ countries and see if this applies to your situation.
Good luck. I hope that this has helped you.
    Mikedie
