    Hi,

If I wanted to import member data from another db which has more fields in the register page than the default amember, would I just add all the fields I need and then import normally?

If this is correct, what order need they be in as I have the 6000 odd member data in an excel file which I was going to export as a comma delimited file but not sure what column order they should be in for the import to amember.

Say, login, first name, last name, email, password, address1, address2, city, etc, or does it not matter?

Also, The old db has a field that was auto entered for 'Join Date'. Does amember have this or will I just add a field 'joindate' and the new member will have to add it themselves.

I have other unrelated q's for other posts.

    Thanks

I would create the fields in aMember first, create a test user with the data filled in and lastly export it to csv to get an idea of what fields are included and what the structure of the file should be.

Can't get signup email to be sent automatically upon import

    Hi,

I can't seem to get the singup email to be sent automatically after I bulk import users. Any one know what header name and value I need to do this?
