If I go with the incremental plugin - do I have to go with "the bridge" too? Or is there another way to create incremental content in a Wordpress blog?

You can use Ken Gary's amprotect plugin. It will protect regular and incremental content on your wordpress site.

I have a question about the incremental content plugin: how can I control the order in which the items are listed? They seem to be listed in some sort of crazy way that I absolutely cannot figure out right now; they should be listed by the day they become available, but no such luck. Any ideas?

They usually get listed by title. You need to use 01 if the numbers go 10 and over.

well, actually, we use html code as the title so that we can use an image (the cover of an issue of the digital magazine that we sell using amember) for our members to click on instead of words. But i've used textwrangler to sort the html alphabetically and it does not come out to be the same order that the mags are shown on the user page. any idea how i can program to order them according to something else, like availability date?

Contact support desk- i think they have a hack for this.

Would be a nice option to have too.
Do you want to sort by:
    Title
    Release date
    etc..
