I am planning to use Amember with Paypal subscriptions on 1 site and I would like to offer a free trial of 2 weeks.

Is there a way to avoid that people will subscribe for the free trial, cancel before the end of the 2 weeks and subscribe again so they will have a free trial again?

    Thank you

They would not be able to subscribe again using the same username and/or email address, but as long as they have access to a new email address they can create another user account. aMember does not check whether the same PayPal account has been used more than once (I may be wrong about this).

    Thank you for your reply.

I was already afraid of that. It's really easy to use a different e-mail address.

I don't know if it's possible to implement something like an IP-check or Paypal account-check or some other unique data-check? (just giving some thoughts, I'm not an expert)

Currently these checks are not implemented.

Ralph, Do you know where on this forum, or what steps are needed in order to create the free trial like you mention - X period of free access, but to obtain billing information up front so that if an account is NOT cancelled before 2 weeks are up then it gets billed?

If your free trial doesn't work this way, could you explain how it does?
