    Hi,
Are there any Infusionsoft users on here? I'm currently using 1SC and thinking of making the switch, particularly now that I have a members site.

    Can anybody answer these questions?

    1. Does Infusionsoft support recurring Paypal payments?
    2. The Infusionsoft checkout page comes BEFORE the Amember signup page, right? (At least that's what I've seen on Ryan Deiss's sites.)

Having the Amember signup page BEFORE the checkout (and making them choose between Paypal and 1SC) is a huge conversion killer. I'm seeing about 40% of potential subscribers complete the signup and abandon at checkout.

    Thoughts, anybody?

    Thanks

    Switching

Funny, I am currently an Infusionsoft user and thinking of switching to 1shoppingcart and/or amember.

Why are you planning on using Infusionsoft?

We are thinking of switching because Infusionsoft is so expensive to setup and maintain. And we don't use 90% of the features in there. And we took an honest look at it, we probably won't ever use those features. Amember seems to have everything we need at a much better price.

The challenge is migrating our current subscribers to an Amember solution.

Just as a warning, Infusionsoft is not that user friendly. There are so many features that some things just get buried. Unless, your sales/marketing cycle uses a lot of offline components like postcards, letters, phone calls, voice broadcasts, fax broadcasts, etc. then Infusionsoft may be too much for you. It is for us. We thought we would do all of those things, but we mostly do email campaigns and voice broadcasts. Which we figure we can manage with Amember.

Infusion seems like a better alternative to Salesforce if you need something of that magnitude and are a student of direct marketing.

Yeah, I keep seeing a lot of people jump on the InfusionSoft bandwagon (because it's marketed very good, if I may add... I even looked into it), but realize that at the price point of $5,000 or whatever it's priced these days they don't end up using most of the features it comes with (just like you did) and then turn to something less cumbersome and more specific to their needs...

Oh well, I guess do your research BEFORE you sign up for anything...

Well, I'm coming in with a totally different opinion I guess. We recently switched to InfusionSoft, and I can't imagine NOT using it. We don't do any physical mail pieces or anything like that either - mostly all email. As far as what this app can do, it's the only game in town...trust me, I've looked long and hard...

I don't mean to offend, but if you're serious about your online business and most effectively nurturing your relationships with your prospects and customers, I can't imagine why you wouldn't have a need for at least some of the features it has that other systems don't.

Also, I think their monthly fee is CHEAP.

Another other advantage is that you don't have to have 3 or 4 different systems to do all the things you need. It's all under one roof.

They way we're using it (and we're NOT in the IM niche), we totally have the upperhand that our competitors will never have (unless they get it , that is :) )

    That's my 2 cents anyway...

As I said, it's not for everyone.

A lot of people don't need or just don't end up using most of the features InfusionSoft offers, and thus that makes not only the price tag but the whole software "useless" for someone who would've been fine with a simple solution...

Then again, those who have the need for it, hey, all the power to ya... I've used it myself and I know how extensive and powerful it is. The question still remains - in order to get from a point A to a point B, would you rather take a Honda or a Ferrari? And which one can you afford to begin with?
