hello, i've got the trial of aMember up and running to test out to see if we want to upgrade from Account Manager. We accept payment by PayPal and cheque. When a user signs up via the offline method/cheque they receive an email when they are approved (which would be when we receieve the cheque) but is it possible that they can receive an email when they have just completed the sign up? this would beused to confirm the address details etc . I'm not sure if i've missed hte option somewhere in teh script but it seems fairly fundamental that for offline payment they should be emailed details as well as seeing them on screen.... Could you also explain how aMembert will behave if i turn the phpbb plugin on on a forum which already has >1000 members. It says in the manual it will "restructure members intelligently". what does this mean? finally, one last thing, i think some people may be turned away from using your script because it says it needs zend/ioncube but people may not know they can get an ioncube loader from their site and upload it to the host to get it working. this way the host wont need to get involved. cheers,
1. Of curse, have a look to aMember CP -> Setup -> E-Mail : Send Pending E-Mail setting 2. It depends on which levels of membership are you going to offer to customers. Will there be free registration enabled or not? Which restrictions if yes? 3. Well, loaders are already included into aMember (amember/ioncube/ folder). Was there any problems with bundled loaders?
