I have a couple of questions. When going through the install it asked me for the directory and defaulted to www.domain.com/amember Does this need to be in the /amember direectory can I install it in the root. www.mydomain.com I am considering using amember for a wordpress blog that I would like to have installed in the root directory as well how would that work? In addition I would like to have a message forum setup in a folder caleld /forum I am looking for two tier memberships for the forum and 2 tier memberships for the blog. Can this be done? I am not sure I will have the time to set all of this up on my own. is there a setup and installation service?
It seems there would be a number of issues by loading them both in the root: Amember and WordPress both have index.php files, for starters. If you do not want to have the "amember" directory, perhaps rename it to something like /member or /access.
Stick wordpress in your root and amember in a subdirectory (suggest you use /member or /users/ etc.. as hackers seem to target /amember/). Then put your forum in /forum/ David
