I am going through the install and after I added the config.inc.php file to the amember folder, I did that, clicked next, and now the page is all white and says, "The file /var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com/httpdocs/amember/rconfig-ioncube.inc.php is corrupted. " The x's are from me hiding my domain for this post... I installed the file again on my server and still... the message is showing up. Now I am clueless as to why this is happening. The only thing that I may have messed up on was the MySQL deal. I have MYSQL running on my server for WordPress. I understand that you cannot have two MYSQL's running on a server... so I created another user within the current database that I have- not sure if that was what I was supposed to do. I then entered in the MYSQL info in the boxes during set up - and I had no isses there... so maybe I did that right and the above has nothing to do with my current issue. Anyone know how I can fix this so I can get this software installed??? Thanks!!!!! R-
Re-upload rconfig-ioncube.inc.php in BINARY mode (not ASCII mode or wit h any kind of compression). Also, make sure you upload /plugins/db/mysql/mysql-ioncube.inc.php in BINARY mode too. Should then work. Make sure of the following though: If you don't have the Ioncube loader installed as an extension for PHP on your server use the Zend version (rconfig-zend.inc.php-bin) instead (don't let aMember manually load the Ioncube loader from the /ioncube/ directory - that really slows down performance). Hope this helps.
