I did a fresh install of amember 4.1.10, and created a new blank database. The install went perfectly with no errors, but I cannot reach the admin or signup pages. I am getting an error in my Apache logs which read: I'm running Apache 2.2.21, PHP 5.3.9 and MySQL 5.1.58 on FreeBSD 8.2-release with all patches. What might the issue be? I have amember 3.x installed and running fine. thanks, Kelly
You get this error because there is no mbstring extension enabled in php. Contact hosting support and ask to enable it: http://www.php.net/manual/en/mbstring.installation.php
Thanks, that fixed the issue. You might want to have the script check if this module is required, as it wasn't a requirement in the 3.x versions. Appreciate the quick response! Kelly
