I have downloaded the source files and unzipped them into my local directory. I have gone through the setup pages, and when i get to Step 4 of 4 and try to login to the admin i get the "/amember/signup.php] has been uploaded in ASCII (text) FTP transfer mode and is broken." error message.

I haven't FTP'ed anything. Merely unzipped into the directory. Please advise.

It is better if you contact us via helpdesk. In any case, it is only upload/unpacking error.

    Same Problem

I am having the same problem. Posting an answer would help other like me and in addition not tie up your support staff with "boring" repetive help requests.

There are a lot of reasons of this and similar errors but most common is incorrect files upload.
Many ftp clients does not work with binary mode right.
