Hi, Does anyone know of a processor who provides instant access after payment, integrates with aMember and offers recurring billing??

I guess you could say my site is adult in nature because it does target an adult audience. We are a consumer watch group for members who shop for pharmaceuticals worldwide (to save money - in the U.S. the price of medicine has become unmanageable for many - especially the elderly). We don't sell the medicine AT ALL. We just list pharmacies all over the world and share information about how reliable they are.

We used Globill for several years then they went out of business. When they went out of business we went with aMember software and used PayPal Subscription and PaySystems/Revecom as a backup. Well, PaySystems has stopped providing third-party billing and PayPal suddenly decided that our content was adult in nature and violated their TOS. I have visited websites today that provide the same type of information we do and they still seem to be using PayPal so that doesn't make sense - but that's okay, life's not always fair  . I have NEVER had a single chargeback so I know that isn't the problem. Our group has been online for about 6 years so we are a pretty stable site. Anyway, I sure do need to get up and running again!! :) If anyone has any advice it would be great - to say the least :) .

I'm trying not to panic but this is my sole source of income - yikes! I'm using Stormpay for the moment but I'm not getting any signups and a few members have emailed me after trying to renew with them saying that they don't process payments for certain states?? I don't think that is going to work. I really never got as many signups with PayPal, either, as I did with Globill - I guess because if visitors aren't already members of those payment sites they don't want to join them - then join our site. I seem to lose visitors in the extra steps. I'm hoping to find a solution that is more straight-forward so that visitors can just pay then access the site.

Sorry to go on so long. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. I really appreciate it.

    There are 3 alternatives today:
    ccBill
    volpay.com
paymenow.com (check if they accept adult websites)
Also, may be there will be support for iPay.com

Hi Alex, Volpay looks really great. Are they supported for use with aMember Pro? I don't see them on the list of plugins for supported payment processors. How about PayMeNow?? Thanks again, Alex. Your software and support are the *best*.

    Payment processors

Can you post a listing of the most current payment processors supported by aMember? Also, I thought Authorize.net and Ikobo allowed adult processing as well. Have their policies changed?

Fred, payments processors list will be updated soon on features page.

I'm not sure about Authorize.net and I don't think Ikobo is acceptable for adult website. Signup must be easy!

    Hi Alex,

Just wanted to let you know that I just got an approval from Cardservices/Linkpoint - hurray :) . I should receive the Linkpoint gateway info within the next 24 hours.

Wow, I feel like I finally have a real solution that isn't going to cost a fortune :). I had to send lots of documentation and wait a while for approval but I'm hoping this will be the permanent solution I have needed to find. Now to set it all up  . I'm going to start looking through the aMember and Linkpoint documentation now to try to get a handle on it.

I'll post back letting everyone know how it goes with them once we are setup.

Thanks so much for your support.

My congratulations! Feel free to contact CGI-Central for assistance with plugin configuration, it is not trivial.
However, LinkPoint itself is very reliable and secure credit card processing, it is nice choice.

Pharmreport, does Cardservices/Linkpoint consider your site as adult in nature? Also, do you know if their policies allow for adult content?

You mentioned earlier you were banned from paypal due to adult nature violations.

    Hi yatesf,

I wish I knew the answer to your question  . I just looked on the front pages of their site and I didn't find any info that said for sure if they did or didn't accept adult content. They may not have considered our site 'adult' by their regulations. PayPal didn't consider our site as 'adult' until they tightened up their TOS. Wish I could have been more help. You should contact them - you never know :) .

Thanks, Alex :) . Wow, I have been looking through the documentation on the Linkpoint site and it is very overwhelming  . I pulled the aMember readme file for the Linkpoint plugin and I am going to start there :). I'm going to work on it and see how bad I can mess it up - lol - then I'll send a support ticket so you can help me fix it :D . I'm KIDDING!! I promise I'll ask for help *before* I mess anything up. Thanks again for providing such a great program and such outstanding support.

The common drawback from most of the payment processor which I see that you have to wait 4 to 6 weeks before you see the money accordingly on week 7 probably you're going to receive week 1 incomings. I think you're somewhere in EU countries, Chronopay is a good solution, they are offering stable, safe and fast internet payment solutions who would like to open a webshop. They can advice you and assist in setting up a merchant account and an internet payment system.

    Processing Credit Card

    Guys,

I do sincerely think i can get you your Merchant ID with your own discriptor ... for any type of ecommerce but like what you say Chris, the banks like to hold back money from merchants, but in our case, i have seen hold backs due to card association rule violation or fraud.

We process around 40 MIL USD now per month... we hope we can be of service to any ecommerce merchants.

    Thanks

All this depends on the fraud level, if you have minor one- go with the one which can remove fraud checks for your products, or you may start loosing valid orders which will cost you much more.

I recommend anyone to stay away from these "serious payment processors". Topic closed.
