Unfortunately existing Joomla plugin will not work with CB. So you can't transfer users from amember to CB when user purchase something in aMember. This can be done only without CB.

thanks, in the least i need to get joomla and amember interfacing. I have been trying what was proposed in this link.
    http://www.amember.com/p/Integration/Joomla-CommunityBuilder/

however when i get to step 6 i never get a succceful install, it always fails. Any reasons why this is, or would you know of a better way?

As of right now the main site for the public is not in joomla. I am creating a users area for those with paid subscriptions in joomla.

Is it possible to have users who register via the amember registration to be automatically created an account in the joomla db and so when users who log in via the amember log in to be automatically logged in to the joomla section?

In regards to CB plugin installation please contact us in helpdesk.
This will work with default Joomla plugin but will not be integrated with CB because it use own users database.

Is it possible to have amember work with two add-ins, like Moodle and Joomla?
