Hi Have worked with aMember for a bit and I'm looking at a new project. I want to know if aMember can handle the following. Here is a little background: - Shopping cart Integration (product configurator) 3rd party - Allows customer to customize their product (almost every one is different). with well over 10000 customers. - Each configured product has 1) Setup charge (one time) 2) Monthly Subscription charge 3) And a usage charge that the customer prepays. (Like a cell phone company or Long distance company prepaid calling card) So this 3rd party system needs to pass these amounts to aMember for tracking and payment. - As the customer uses services the usage charges are tracked and deducted from the prepayment within the 3rd party system. a) If they run out they are prompted and buy more. b) At the end of the month the unused amounts are carried fwd to the next month by the 3rd party system and customer can add more prepaid usage. In both cases the customer would use the 3rd party shopping cart. The system would then send this to amember for payment. As I see it the integration points are: 1) the 3rd party shopping card needs to pass the Onetime, Monthly Subscription and Prepaid Usage amounts to aMember. aMember then does what it does, manages payments and recurring subscriptions for each customer. 2) aMember needs to send 3rd party shopping cart notice of success or non success payments. (Monthly Subscription payments, any one time payments and any prepaid usage payments.) At the moment I believe aMember can do this with some work. Need some advice, what is the best approach? I can think of a few ways to do it but I'd like some advice.
