I'm very interested in aMember Pro, but does aMember have a module to integrate with pMachine's ExpressionEngine CMS? I just want to make sure that aMember Pro has a module that works with EE before I purchase the pro version. http://www.pmachine.com/expressionengine/
Yes, it works. You can order EE plugin from the order page http://cgi-central.net/scripts/amember/order.php for additional $40.
Replying to an old thread.. The integration between ExpressionEngine and aMember has a few minor problems. It doesn't write to the three different tables in EE during registration. There are three tables: exp_members, exp_member_data, and exp_member_homepage. aMember writes to exp_members, but not the other two. member_id should be added to a new row in exp_member_data and exp_member_homepage. The most recent version of EE is now 1.4. The implementation of aMember was for version 1.0.
Alex has a copy of EE1.4 to test with. I'll let him comment on how he is coming with updating the plugin.
Updated plugin released and will be released into 2.3.10 Please contact us via helpdesk if you want to get updated plugin right now.
I don't own amember yet, but this plugin is your major selling point, in my case at least... shouldn't be too long before I buy a licence, alex
now, I just have one more question before diving in and buying both amember and EE plugin... how exactly are the two integrated? I am thinking of creating a separate template in EE for those users that are subscribers (subscribed through amember script) and give them the ability in EE to access all the pages in that separate template (once they are validate through amember, or their subscription hasn't run out yet, or something)... is that how it works... or something else?
