Hello everyone! First of all, sorry if this question has already been answered, but, after searching through this forum I haven't found out what it's happening to me. I'm installing the Amember trial version. I've run tester.php and this is what I have: Testing whether your system has ionCube Loader in php.ini...Failed Testing whether your system has Zend Optimizer in php.ini...Failed Testing whether your system can load ionCube Loader dynamically...OK Testing results: No additional configuration required and aMember will work on your hosting using the following loading method: ionCube dynamic loading possible Additional information: PHP version 5.2.5 (apache2handler) OS Linux caprica.phihosting.net 2.6.9-67.0.7.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Feb 27 04:48:20 EST 2008 i686 safe_mode Disabled enable_dl Enabled extension_dir /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613 PHP Extensions xmlwriter, libxml, dom, xmlreader, xml, SimpleXML, SPL, sockets, SQLite, Reflection, posix, mysql, json, imap, iconv, hash, ftp, filter, date, ctype, calendar, bcmath, zlib, apache2handler CURL binary /usr/bin/curl So, I've installed Amember following the steps described in http://manual.amember.com/Step-by-Step_Installation and it seems that evverything has gone well. But then I got this in my www.myexampleofwebsite.com/amember/index.php: Site error: the file /home/myexampleofwebsite/public_html/amember/index.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator. I've seen that in public_html/amember/ioncube I have this library, so, what is it happening to me? Must I do anything else? Thank you very much. Ruben
Interesting In my post just a little earlier today "Test Script Vs. Actual Install" I had the exact same problem. I look forward to seeing what the gurus here have to say. At least now I know it is not just me.
Hello vanoosterhout, Don't you think that it's a coincidence that this happens to us at the same time? I'm thinking if ionCube dynamic loader has to load ionCube from a server and it is down these days (???). I hope we have some answers, and meanwhile I'll try again. Regards, Ruben.
Hello again, sorry for insist in this question, but the last thing I need to launch my website is install Amember (or a software like Amember, but after read a lot of webs I think Amember is the best by far and I would like to test it before purchase it). The thing is that I'm still getting the error I mention in my first post. If it's dificult to fix it, at least, any of you could tell me if it's a problem of my Amember installation, or if it's a problem of my hosting configuration? In this case I could talk with the hosting administrator (although runing the tester.php it seems that I have the neccessary). Thank you very much, and sorry about my English . Ruben
I's suggest putting in a trouble ticket to Alex at the helpdesk to try to resolve. It may be quicker than working it out on here.
Might I suggest loading up the latest copy of Ioncube: http://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php copy the .so file to -> \amember\ioncube
Thank you very much for the answers. With the trouble ticket I received the help I needed: With my PHP configuration (5.2) the dynamic loading doesn't work, I have to install the ioncube loader or install the Pro version (not the trial).
