    I installed the latest version of aMember Pro and the following showed up at my door:

    The file /home2/cavern/public_html/amember/rconfig.inc.php has been encoded with the ionCube PHP Encoder and requires the free ioncube_loader_lin_5.0.so ionCube PHP Loader to be installed.

    What does this mean? I never saw this with the old version. Should I move back a version? Is this a new version bug, glitch, or other? If I have to install ionCube, why on this new version when the old version worked fine?

    Seems your host has installed PHP5.0.0. aMember is encoded with ionCube or Zend Optimizer. You are using ionCube-encoded files, but ionCube team not yet released loader for PHP5, it is expected on next week. There are 2 choices for you:
    - install free Zend Optimizer and use Zend-encoded files;
    - or, ask your hosting support to downgrade PHP. It is not time yet to use PHP 5 in production enviroment!

    Adding new ionCube for PHP5

    You are correct! I talked with the hosting and they did in fact install PHP5. I'll give it a couple of weeks and see if ionCube is ready by then.

    Is all of what I must do is add the new ionCube to the correct folder in aMember?
