well i just sent an email off to my hosting company (webhost4life.com) and am praying that they can do this install for me of the ionCube PHP Loader. has anyone ever had to do this with this hosting company and if yes, what if any prob's did you run into. thanks for all your help. or does anyone know of any work arounds? i really would hate spending $140 for a usuless utility. Myke AMember Pro + PHPBB2
I would take a look at this site ( explains a bit about their use of ion cube ) http://www.incursio.com/products/censura/d...stallation.html If they have'nt got zend or Ion cube installed, or will not install it, I would get a new server. I have the phpB2 plug in and amemberpro, I would definately change my server for it, rather than not have it.
pilot most likely suggested right. A better hosting solution would probably save you money in the long run. Check your pm..
Myke, 1. please contact me: alex@cgi-central.net 2. if it is impossible to run, you will get refund, please don't worry.
I had no problem adding ioncube to my server, but have not been able to make it work. this is the message i got: Looking for Loader 'ioncube_loader_fre_4.3.so' or 'ioncube_loader.so' Extensions Dir: /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/4.3.2 Relative Path: /../../../../../../usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/ioncube/ Found Loader: /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/4.3.2/../../../../../../usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/ioncube/ioncube_loader_fre_4.3.so Trying to install Loader - this may produce an error... I AM running FreeBSD 4.4 and PHP 4.3.2 any help would be most appreciated (this was also emailed to support)
ion cube problems The file D:\Webs\mysite.COM\amember\rconfig-ioncube.inc.php has been encoded with the ionCube PHP Encoder and requires the free ioncube_loader_win_4.3.dll ionCube PHP Loader to be installed. This is the error I get when trying to migrate from a unix based test bed server to a windows based server. I have root on the windows based server and I installed ion cube there but I dont see how to tell amember how to use it. what do I do?
Install ionCube Loader according to http://www.ioncube.com/loaders/ Also, please note that aMember Pro can work under Apache only, it doesn't work with Microsoft IIS.
