The file /usrxxx/home/r/o/user/public_html/amember/index.php has been encoded with the ionCube PHP Encoder and requires the free ioncube_loader_fre_4.2.so ionCube PHP Loader to be installed.

I have this message when I try to access Control Panel.
    How can I fix this?

    Thanks

I believe I answered this in the helpdesk.

    Anyway, here is response:
    * Get ionCube Loader for FreeBSD and PHP 4.2
    http://ioncube.com/loaders/
    * Upload it to amember/ioncube/ folder.

    Thanks Alex.

Guess I have to find out which PHP version my host server is running ? And whether it's FreeBSD4, Linux Intel, NetBSD, Open BSD pre-3.4, OSX, Solaris Sparc, or Windows? And download the right file that's compatible with their system?

My host's PHP version is 4.04

My amember/ioncube/ folder has 3 files in it:
    ioncube_loader_fre_4.3.so
    ioncube_loader_lin_4.2.so
    ioncube_loader_lin_4.3.so

The link you gave me is only up to 4.3X. Which one should I download?
And I still need the answer to my question above please.

I'm ready to purchase the pro version but I want to make this trial work first.

    Thanks Alex

I still get this error.... The file /usr211/home/r/o/user/public_html/amember/index.php has been encoded with the ionCube PHP Encoder and requires the free ioncube_loader_fre_4.2.so ionCube PHP Loader to be installed.

It is nice if error fixed, but aMember requires PHP 4.1.0+
It is very bad idea to use older buggy versions.
