Ioncube Trouble And Zend Optimizer

Discussion in 'Installation' started by Ronald LeClair, Nov 2, 2003.

  1. I have two hosts, one I installed the free version of aMember on and it worked nicely. After using the free version for a day or so, I bought the Pro version and installed it on my other host.

This is where I ran into the ionCube/ZEND issue with the host where I installed the Pro version.

    My questions is .......

If the free version ran on the first host, does that mean they have the correct ionCube or ZEND optimizer installed and I could run the Pro version there? Or does the free version not need either of these two?

    Thank you

No, Free version doesn't have any encoding. Please contact support@cgi-central.net - this problem can and must be resolved.

I added zend optimizer to my server and now I receive the following error when I try to access amember:

Fatal error: The ionCube Loader is only compatible with either the PHP Accelerator, Zend Optimizer or Zend Accelerator. Please contact support@ioncube.com if you require assistance. in Unknown on line 0

Do I need to reinstall amember?

    Thank you.

You probably need to install the zend files.

    Do one from the following:

    - download new ionCube loader from http://www.ioncube.com/loaders/ and upload them to
    amember/ioncube/ folder

    OR

    - get Zend Encoded files from CGI-Central members area (must match your version, so better use first option)
