ip address change

    I need to switch to a dedicated ip address and every time I try amember stops working. Is there a place to change the ip address or will it be fine once the new ip propagates?

    You are switching the dedicated IP on your server or your client?

    There is no IP related configuration for aMember, I suspect the issue you are seeing is DNS propagation which can take anywhere from 45 min to 2 days.

    For local testing you can update your hosts file to hard code the new IP address until DNS propagates.

    Agree with skippy. I've changed IPs on amember sites with no problems- amember doesnt care about that. Its probably the DNS not resolving.
