I'm thinking of starting up my new LLC on Bluehost, but I'm not sure if they'll support the amember application. Anyone running on them and have feedback on service/support? I have over 6000 accounts so far on my current installation (on a different server) and three of us are starting this LLC together and starting a fresh installation under a new domain name. Bluehost doesn't offer business-class options so I'm concerned that a shared server environment might be too limiting. Not sure so if you have feedback on them, please let me know.
I've heard lots of very positive feedback about Bluehost. Yes, I'm certain aMember will run fine on Bluehost! Bluehost give you a lot of control over important things like .htaccess and php.ini, so you'll be able to make your aMember install fast and secure. I no longer use shared hosting, but I wish I knew about Bluehost when I did! Make sure you avoid Dreamhost - they may be cheap, but expect daily downtime, slow response times, slow page processing, slow mysql queries.... You get the picture.
