Folks, We're looking to integrate aMember with a legacy web application, and it would go a long way if we could get the admin section to look/feel more like the current app. To do that, there's no way that primitive frames approach in amember/admin/ is going to work. Is it possible to do away with the frames? I know that this isn't trivial - it would require loading both the menu content and the action content on the same page, instead of 2 separate pages. Has anyone at CGI-Central come up with a way to do this? I'm sure the answer would require pretty intimate knowledge of the product's inner workings. Thanks! Sean Phelan
primitive frames approach? sounds like the web application you're trying to integrate that into is way more primitive but anyway, yeah, it's possible, but it would take a bit of work to get all the pieces in properly out of the frames and into a single page... might even require adding a header (new navigation menu) to all the admin pages, which means editing a few dozen templates too. let me know if you're interested - I might be persuaded into doing it...
